I adore this one, too, I also love the way it transitions into Here, and I am pretty much equally in love with Here

you are absolutely on point. Beautiful connection of 2 gems....simultaneously!!!!

Most definitely. I gotta say that "Here" is one of the best songs he has ever recorded, and classic Prince, lyrically, where during most of the song, he's saying "I just DON'T want U here", then at the end reversing it 2 "I just want U here". It's an absolute tear jerker of a gem.
"He's a musician's musician..."

I really like this version of Ure Gonna C Me. I like it more than the original. Personally, Here is the best ballad on the disc and one of his best songs period but this is great too. I'm glad I don't have to press skip on it.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I like this one. It's one of the only songs on the "MPLS Sound" album that I can stomach.
Andy is a four letter word.

I've picked out the original recently as my breakdown-song-of-the-moment.

This is definitely one of my favourites. The first time I heard it I felt like crying! (I'm a strange creature sometimes). Haven't heard the original....yet.

I, seriously fell in love with the new orchestrated song...
"U're Gonna C Me".

I am so in love with this song. When he had this on the "ONA" cd I loved it... and on the newest CD set, it is absolutely gorgeous.

I simply love this song.

The Ebb and Flow, with the orchestration, harmonies, ambience and flange is perfect...

The fountain of flow in this song is amazing.

It is ... absolutely my favorite next to GOD.

Wow - is all I can say. This song is: IT.

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful, heavenly exceptional song Mr. Nelson.

Love it. This song for sure I will be singing every where I go... for I am in LOVE...of IT.

Whew, "Here" is another fantastic (be singing that one too)! I have no idea to whom, Mr. Nelson is writing about but I sure hope the woman - truly knows how beautiful and golden his heart is... when he is in love - for it's like all the rainbows ever created just lit up the world with the air you are going to breath.

Breath...it in deep.

U're gonna c me and Here are my favs. It is ironic that Here follows U're gonna c me on Mlpsound...i'm convinced he is singing about/or 2 this new woman in his life. Both songs are so heartfelt...full of emotion.

I don't like the lyics, but I do find myself humming it a lot. It's a pretty nice melody. A little fluffy.

I think Here is a better song, though--more original, less forced & generic and more Prince sounding.

This is probably my favorite song off the album. Is it me or does anyone think it bares a little resemblance to The Arms Of Orion?

I like it but I prefer the version on ONA piano

I like the updated version better but the ONA one has it's own sense of intimacy to it.

nup... didnt get it...

but the drum sound reminds me of that part in Purple Rain
were Prince tells Appolonia that she's crying on that funny sounding song.

and theres bits of the violining that just dont sound right...
- but that could be my ear wax lol
