Holy crap! I'm not the only one biggrin

The falsetto is perfectly placed. The lyrics and delivery are emotional. The raw production is right up my alley. "The undulating acrobat"?... pure Prince.

In a pale blue spotlight
A figure spins around and the voice calls out 2 U:
"Baby, do U like the sound?"
The undulating acrobat ready 2 do your bidding says:
"Come, U must let me dress U
But first, I must do a fitting"
Do U like it fast?
Do U like it slow?
I know it's better if we make it up as we go
And oh, by the way, tell me now, what's your name?
I'll let it sweeten my tongue just once
And never speak it again
Since this is our little secret
Just once and never speak it again
This is our little secret

Untarnished memory in a pale blue spotlight
Oh, let me hear U scream
If U're ready 4 one nite alone...
With me

Yeah undulating ... falsetto, baritone, tenor, sliding from talking to singing and back. Jazzy sensual piano. Ending on an unresolved chord. Nice.

To work live, it would need to be played in a concert hall.
In a couple of hundred years historians may discover that Prince's lyrics were written by Christopher Marlowe.

"Adore"

I don't think he's released another song quite like it.

But this is impossible to say since I think Prince's songs have more replay value than just about anyone.
