Okay, y'all made me go back and listen to Musicology and Planet Earth, which I haven't done much of the past couple years. So thanks for that. I'd forgotten how solid they were. Planet Earth started out at 7 or 8...then I played it, lol. This ended up a lot harder than I thought it'd be...MPLsound isn't bad to me, but I couldn't put it ahead of ONA or Chocolate Invasion.

1. 3121 - Black Sweat & Lolita, among his funkiest deliveries. Incense and Candles(!), even The Word is on point
2. Lotusflow3r - and rising... $, Boom, Dreamer may end up as all-timers for me. Nice diversity of sounds...with the right videos, there are multiple mid-level hits here.
3. Rainbow Children - how many people liked this when it debuted? show of hands?? liars.
4. Planet Earth (stop dissing 'Mr. Goodnight' and 'Future Baby Mama'! This is Prince, dammit... not friggin Radiohead!!!)

LOtUSFLOW3R 7.5/10 (The non-guitar songs kill the flow (77 beverly park, love like jazz, etc)

MPLSoUND 8/10 (I tend to be leaning to this more out of the two)

Sidenote, I've always thought that you could take the strongest songs from Musicology, 3121, and Planet Earth and have one fabulous, awesome CD worth of a LOT of attention by radio, the press, and a tour.
