True....100,000 is nothing really for Prince the downturn is good for him 3 Cd's at 11.98 is vaule for money and his fan base must be at least 500,000 in the US alone so it should stay in the top 3 for 2 weeks at least... I don't think Planet Earth has sold 500k, has it? Prince is capable of selling that many but he's not guaranteed to do so and needs to reach beyond his loyal fan base to accomplish it. | |

I don't think Planet Earth has sold 500k, has it? Prince is capable of selling that many but he's not guaranteed to do so and needs to reach beyond his loyal fan base to accomplish it. Nope it sold ref: Billboard ....97,000 in it's first week...so yes 100,000 is easy for Prince in the US....Plus the PE CD was given away free and lots of Orgers got it off the internet and via ebay which don't count on sales charts in the US..... So Prince should do easy on his Fan base alone in the US .... Da, Da, Da....Emancipation....Free..don't think I ain't..! London 21 Nights...Clap your hands...you know the rest..
