I just read another thread on here where someone's calling trax like "Love", "Daddy Pop", "Never B Another Like Me", "Judas Smile", "Silicon" and 'Push" amongst his most embarrassing songs ever. I love all those songs, and how anyone could find any one of those songs more embarrassing than goofiness like "Wedding Feast" or "Animal Kingdom" makes me wonder what I'm doing here sometimes. Most people here think that "Empty Room" is amazing. Not me. I even read recently someone here talking about how shitty the SuperBowl show was...


Prince is so good at so many different things and people listen to his music for so many different reasons, that his diversity becomes a curse. There are hundreds of people here who would be let down by an album with no falsetto vocals or no ballads, and the those are 2 of my least favorite things he does. I find most of his ballads boring and repetitive - and his falsetto distracting at best - for the most part. Having said ll that, I'm looking forward to "LotusFlower"

Maybe we'll finally get the rock record a lot of us have always wanted. These new albums sound promising from what I've read and heard so far.
