Just got that message too from NPGMC. I had sent them an email yesterday to see if they could check status of shipping. My guess is that Prince wanted the set to everyone by today the 6th. Since the retail is December 11th(yes a wednesday) as listed through upcoming releases at Sam Goody. Basically the set doesnt have a firm street date, I think Sam goody is getting it first and can sell it when they get it, since he has a long history with them and now with best buy (redline). But like I said before i think the shipping started too late, whether this was the fault of Gage or NPGMC or Prince who knows but it started really late, especially if they have at least 15,000 members in the club as reports have said. Im not too worried since I plan on getting a few boxsets as gifts for nonmembers, so i plan to get it when we get it in at sam goody ( i work there), but i feel bad for people who have to wait and see it in stores and not have their club copy. Its not necessarily NPGMC's fault. They r reliant on the postal service. All NPGMC can do is give the boxsets 2 the postal service, if they don't distribute properly or within time then its not NPGMC's fault...its out of there hands from that point. | |
