It's always been amazing to me that such a musical genius could occupy and fill is time and energy into these damn bimbos who have nothing to offer. At least Vanity sang about her twat but really, the talentless lineup should have ended there. Are people satisfied that Prince's first opus since Emancipation contains an album of someone else's filler? Is Prince really that out of ideas and emotional commitment that he couldn't fill a third disc with more music? Wendy and Lisa couldn't sing for shit, but at least they were talented musicians. Perhaps the straight men around here are satisfied to look at some hot broads face but is that why you're a Prince fan, to live vicariously through his bedroom? Ladies, how can you stomach it? . salaciousV said: I can agree with that, but from what I've heard so far the vocals make the music trite, you know what I mean? If I want Britney Spears I'll buy Britney. if I want Chante Moore, I'll buy Chante Moore not the knock off version. But when I want Prince, I want Prince and if he's going to do a protege album, give us at least another Tamar like talent version. And this is coming from someone who saw 3 of the Tamar shows and was not that impressed with her, but but couldnt deny she was good. She could hold her own with Prince and I cant take that away from her. Unlike most of the rest however, Tamar's musical output is even better now that she isn't with Prince. Her vocals were fantastic in "The Marriage Counselor." And have U heard her track "Ice Cold?" Song is hot. "You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup...Now water can flow or it can crash. To be honest, Shelby Jackson would've been my choice on the 3rd disc, i'm not interested in Bria she has no history to me, Shelby has a great set of pipes, proven many times to me via Indigo bootlegs and aftershows in London.
It'd be nice if he had it in his heart to promote a black girl in the way he is prepared to with Bria, and that's all i'm saying.

Supa, you are crazy as hell and that's why I you!! I can't wait to see the reaction to Bria, next week, from outside the purple vapor zones. I heard her vocals the other day from a video clip on Access Hollywood. Should be quite interesting to say the very least. I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

Someone wrote before that Prince 'was' doing a release for her but they were taking their time with it, getting material and such to make it perfect (paraphrased). Hopefully it's true. But then again even if it is, it still may not come to fruition especially seeing how shes been with him for a few years now and nothing. But it "seems" Bria came out of nowhere and voila: a new cd for her.
