Hi Everyone!

I've been watching that American Idol Rewind shows that air on TV from time to time and what I'd like to know is, which finale was Prince on? Like who won so I can know which finale to watch to see him, because I totally don't remember who won.

He was on the one in 2006, when Taylor Hicks won the contest. He sang the song LOLITA.

It was pretty bad unfortunately. This was pre-instrument A.I. Now, Prince could show up with his band and guitar and do a better job.

I remember that A.I. wasn't even sure Prince was gonna do it since he hadn't practiced there. Then, like ten minutes before he went onstage, they got a call his car arrived. At the very end of the show, Prince and the Twinz marched in, did their thing, and marched out. JAWS WERE ON THE FLOOR! I think Ryan Seacrest must have pee'd his pants as there was NO interview. It was amazing -- and perhaps THE highlight of that season!!!!

That was the best finale of American Idol and the best moment on A.I. for me. That was such a crazy day because we'd gotten word from jseven that it was looking like Prince was going to do the show but it wasn't set in stone yet. Once he came on the show, it was like the world stood still! It was a blast here on p.org, definately one of my favorite memories being a member here.
