awwe....Pet shops should only sell most birds in pairs...and People should only buy pairs of birds. In their natural habitat birds are usually coupled for companionship. It's really a crime not to own two birds at a time. Some people argue about larger birds, but I just believe that if they fight it's because they are improperly mixed.

I love that song, it is SO true. by the way, you know that doves are only White pigeons don't you??

Cool fact about Doves, they mate for life. I had a dove years ago, his mate died and my friend gave him to me, I renamed him Unity. But my heart was breaking seeming him in the cage everyday by himself, he seemed very sad. Finally I just let him go, I took him to a park during the summertime, he flew up into the trees...

I'm a multimedia specialist by trade. Wedding videography pays for my meat and potatoes, especially during the months from May through September. One of the novelties of a great many weddings that I've taped is the releasing of doves right after the ceremony but what most don't know, that I learned from the people that actually raise and provide the doves, is that right after they are released...they fly off and die...because caged birds don't have the inherited skill or know how to survive in the wild!
