Quite a few from:Sequel
"This was a follow up to the 1998 outtake album Crystal Ball. Fans who attended Prince's Paisley Park Studios during June 2000 were given the opportunity to vote for their favorite outtakes out of a list of 23 and 17 were selected. For unknown reasons it was never produced"

"3 Nigs Watchin' a Kung Fu Movie"

"American Jam"
"Come Electra Tuesday" (not selected)

"Everybody Wants What They Don't Got" (i have this but it is a promo)
"Evolsidog"
"Eye Wonder"
"Girl" (not selected)

"If it'll Make U Happy" (not selected)
"Katrina's Paper Dolls"
"Kiss" (Unreleased Xtended Version)
"Love & Sex"

"U're All Eye Want"
"Xtra Lovable"

I always wondered if they were ever released on any other boots, and whether any one else has heard them? besides those who voted?

No-one at the 2000 Celebration heard these songs either.

Attendees simply voted on the choices presented on screen when they logged on to an Apple Mac. There were no previews of what the songs actually sounded like.

As i've just mentioned on the "Wonderful Ass" thread, I've actually never heard ANY bootleg/unreleased songs. I've been a fan for 25 years and have all of the commercially released albums, but have never really searched out unreleased stuff. I've just never been interested enough to look for such stuff. I don't mean that in a nasty way, i've just never been into bootlegs for some reason.

oh right. there is an interesting page on wikepedia (which probs every one knows about ) http://en.wikipedia.org/w...e_projects

I just didn't recognise many from that fan picked record. i thought the people that voted for them would have at least listened to them. how were you supposed to decide? (pick the ones that you don't recgonise and hope they're good)

i got totally obsessed with downloading prince outakes and boots. there are loads I still haven't origanised. so i have a plesant suprise whenever i put wmp on shuffle.

I have never searched for or purchased any of the many bootlegs or unreleased albums, but I have heard (and received copies of) many of them because one of my best friends is a big fan and he has an extensive collection.

If there are tracks I haven't heard, I wouldn't know. Any I can name, I've heard - I think. (There might be a few things he only played live that I haven't heard yet - but I'm pretty sure I have them somewhere.)

Some songs are right under our noses and we'ld never know it.

Official releases... I've heard virtually everything. There may be a remix or two on some of the singles released I may not have. I haven't heard a lot of the 'live' sound check, concert and after show recordings circulating because unless it was recorded directly from the audio board... I find the listening quality unbearable. But unreleased stuff recorded in studio or live demo sessions and such.... I'm probably heard (and got) around 80% of it.

And please don't PM me asking about them... its against forum rules. wink
