Ask Trickology. He once made a post that his cane had some symbols on it that meant he was worshipping the devil or some shit. He had it studied down to a science.

The Pyramid signify reaching to the Heaven and God's imparting to man the knowledge of construction and Egypt is the Cradle Of Civilization. His interest was reignited after he met Mayte and their Quest of Love. It has absolutely nothing to do with the occult.

The occult Prince - look what we've got so far: * the symbols and numbers thing is just EVERYWHERE around his work * The "Symbol" conists of an old alchemical (you could also say occult!) symbol for soapstone.... * the "hollow earth" theory in "The War" - Thats a very familiar theme to every reader of occult literature.... * the whole Darling Nikki (= old Nick) pact with the devil story (blackguitaristz - where are you now that we need you the most? 
* the whole "Emacipation" is a "Pyramid" (3 sides/ same length, etc) mumb-jumbo * Michael Jackson wrote in his autobiography (?) that P once personally gave him a package with Voodoo stuff or something like that... Can anybody please post this story again or confirm this please? * singing lyrics like "...and if the number 13 is such a bad luck number when theres no such thing as luck - Then the berries, talons, arrows and stars are all superstitions, what the..." while showing the "illuminati" pyramid on the big screen! * All the backward messages! Same thing I thought at first too cause I've done lots of research on symbols and their meanings and stuff as such, then I just brushed it off cause I dont even know him to even make that judgement, plus he seems so into God...and God and certain symbols just don't go together. Yes, there is some masonic reference I feel, especially when you consider the theme of The Gold Experience which has references to the Order of the Golden Dawn which is related to freemasonry. The pyramid and all seeing eye symbols are also freemasonry symbols, in fact the US dollar note is covered in them.So has anyone here ever tried to find evidence if P is a freemason? A lot of talented people through history have been and have been known to be.

There was a thread on here a while back about the 'Order of the Golden Dawn', and Prince often made references to "The Dawn" which is a theme in freemasonry.
Theres a good book called 'Secrets of the Freemasons' by Pat Morgan which is usually on sale in bookshops, and this makes v.interesting reading, and reading that made me see some Prince parallels.
