The Song "Just long as we're together" Hi I'm kinda new here, so I wanted to try to write a topic.
I was just listening to one of Prince's oldest songs; "Just as long as we're together" and I noticed a very dark voice singing the second chourse I think it was. And I was wondering is that Prince? or someone else? It doesn't sound like him at all! :p But I love that song anyhow =) | |

Its all Prince. All instruments, vocals, Backing vocals...etc..... 
Love it. takes me way back everytime i hear it. Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews. | |

I think the only difference is the way the song was mixed, for example, they may have turned the highs up a tad or something like that. You're right though, not much different at all.

Yes it is Prince if you look at the liner notes it says...
All tracks produced, arranged, composed, performed by Prince Thus why he is a bad-ass!!! [Edited 3/11/09 10:03am] The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

One of the best of his earlier songs, IMO.
It might not offer anything real new stylistic-wise, its a long disco-jam very 'suiting' for that period in history, but i still find it impressive such a young artist played all the instruments and did perform all vocals so well on that song. | |
