I Wish U Heaven

I'm really feeling this song, one of my favorites from the album
Surpised he hasn't performed this one, since it goes well with his more spiritual outlook

I Wish U Heaven

Doubts of our conviction
Follow where we go
And when the world's compassion
Ceases, still I know
4 your every touch
I thank U so much
4 your every kiss I...
I wish U love

I wish U heaven {x2}

If I see 11
U can say it's 7
Still I wish U heaven
I wish U love

I wish U heaven

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I had to go back and buy the CD singles I missed as a kid. I managed to get the CD single for £11 off ebay. I forgot how much I enjoyed the extended Scarlet Pussy.

this is one of P's most eloquent songs, downright classical. I love his falsetto voice always but on here its just gentle like a lullaby. so sweet and simple. biggrin

He performed it at the Lovesexy show I attended...or do you mean recently?

It's a nice song, and a pretty interesting video to boot.

This song rocks, easily one of his best efforts.

It's one of the few constants in my ever-fluctuating top 10.
I've seen the future, and boy it's rough...

Positivity was performed at several American aftershows.

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

yeah this album suffered mostly because of the cover. At the time it was his lowest selling album since his first two, his first to not make the top 10 since before 1999. The vibe was that he was doing too much to fast and the audience was really thinning out, but i always felt the album cover backlash took alot away from the music.

He only would do part of Dance On and not the whole song, and as an instrumental leading into Sheila's drum solo. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Say it's just a dream...
U open up ur eyes and come 2 realize
u simply imagined this
So u lean over and give her a kiss
Here on earth, here on earth,
with u it's not so bad
Here on earth, here on earth
eye don't feel so sad
Stay right here

I agree.I never listen 2 the edited version. This is my favourite Prince track after Erotic City.
When he has such awesome songs as this in his back catalog it`s a shame he chooses 2 include Play That Funky Music etc in his live shows!!

I think it was his first No.1 album in the UK.
