Maybe something should be set up so that when it gets close to the US release date,and there is still no word of a international release date,people in the US can sign up to help get CD's for others as well,while they are getting there own. I would be more than happy to do this.

As last year AC/DC Guns N Roses both released their albums through these kind of stores and in the uk they were available normally, so expecting for these cd's to be in HMV or even Tesco or Sainsbury's, hopefully on the day of the release.

The Target web site has a pre-order page for Prince's new 3CD set:

Order now and you'll have the whole shebang delivered to your doorstep as soon as the album is released! (or, the day after, since the album's gonna be released on a Sunday...I'm not quite sure how that'll work)

So for those of you who aren't near a Target and want a physical copy of the album in your hot, sweaty purple paws - this may be the next best thing to visiting the giant red bullseye.

@ Pirate Bay! Those guys has been in a trial for 9 days recently! We will know what happends to them on april 17. Here in Sweden we also get a new law about down/uploading torrents on the net in april. With possibilites for the "authority" to check out any private computer they like, without the persons knowledge...

So, this is probably the reason why Prince wont release his CD-set internationally, though he soon can put everyone who download his music for free, in jail first...

I'm sure it's Prince who's the brain behind all this, and probably even the new "authority"

i don't like getting stuff in the mail. too much hassle for me. we don't live in the best neighborhood and i don't trust these motherfuckers around here with my shit . there are a couple targets in my area, so i'll go to every one if i have to

Actually, it's not. If you google the collection agency they use you'll find that there are A LOT of complaints against both Amazon and the agency for shady business practices. I have NEVER EVER in my life been referred to a collection agecy and this was due to an error on Amazon's end, so the fact it took them 2+ months and a report by me to the Better Business Bureau to rectify it is unacceptable. They'll never get a cent from me again.
