Looks like he saved all his mellow stuff for this, I am kind of amazed this is not being talked about more, the quality on this album rivals that of many of his past releases.

Ultimately this IS a Prince album, so he isn't singing lead, but his backup vocals are everywhere, he did write the music and is playing most of the instruments. To me this release is no less important than any other that would have his name on the cover.

Lyrically this album tells you where Prince is along his spiritual journey more than the others.

All that aside, it comes down to the music and how it makes you feel. Elixir is a solid, high quality set of songs that puts a big smile on my face. I hope a lot of you others are enjoying this as much as I am.

Love it, coherent, never too mellow, clever melodies, easy and charming. Bria such a beauty. No matter what everyone says, for me it comes first after Mplssound. I don't have most of Lotusflow3er exept few. This is my view.
And by the way, i'm pretty satisfied whit the deal, 77 $ one year subscriptions, maybe some exculsive remixes instrumental (like discojellyfish i have adored),. video footages, offical new clips, tix offers, i'm quite okay. (i'm confident the video problems will be fixed)
