Pre-Order the LotusFlow3r CD set!

The Target web site has a pre-order page for Prince's new 3CD set:

http://www.target.com/Pri...B001TI3IB0

Order now and you'll have the whole shebang delivered to your doorstep as soon as the album is released! (or, the day after, since the album's gonna be released on a Sunday...I'm not quite sure how that'll work)

So for those of you who aren't near a Target and want a physical copy of the album in your hot, sweaty purple paws - this may be the next best thing to visiting the giant red bullseye. target

Many thanks to PurpleSurfeit for this tip.

well, it's good news for folks who don't have the option of going to a target store for whatever reason...and for lazy people or for busy/forgetful people. just order it online and one day the mail will come..."hey, what's this? three new prince albums! oh..right!" biggrin

i have a feeling there are going to be events that weekend that will have a bunch of us waiting in various lines...i could be way off track, but i can't believe it's gonna drop quietly...

1 paragraph:

it looks like target is partnering with amazon.com on mail orders, and if that's the case, then the service is going to be VASTLY superior to what people experienced with the crystal ball fiasco. even if target has its own online ordering service, i'm willing to bet we're dealing with something way more polished than 1-800-NEWFUNK. lol

yes, except you have not taken into account that Prince is the source for the music, and he still has to deliver it to them lol

and since he is releasing a project as part of an arrangement with another company, i am sure it will be fine. if he were doing this completely independently, with nobody to answer to if he felt like mucking it all up, then i'd be a little hesitant. even if he mucks it up with target, since they're partnered with amazon it would be really easy to get a full refund ASAP. their customer service is superb.

I guess the price is right, considering all of the tracks could have been put onto one cd.

which would make downloading a good option if that's what you want - then you can bypass all the packaging and burn it all onto one CD. if indeed all the tracks add up to less than 80 minutes.

What a pain that they won't ship internationally. With no international distribution mentioned I imagine we'll get it at inflated import prices a long time after the realease particularly here in New Zealand.

If anyone is willing to have me purchase one and shipped to your U.S adress for you to then onsend to me please orgnote me.

Cheeky? yes! but I'd really appreciate it and of course pay you for the postal costs.

how do you figure? I counted over 30 tracks, they'd have average under 3 minutes each to fit them all on a single CD while hte average of the tracks that have been heard is over 4 minutes each.

Damn I know times are tough and money is scarce for ,some.
But damn give it a rest already. $11.98!!! lol
Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.
