We've heard quite a few songs from each and know which songs are on which album. all 3 sound like they could be "Good/Solid" albums (let's not get into great). I am sure the Bria Valente release will benefit from being bundled in terms of sales, I wouldn't have seen that selling many on it's own, not without a major record company and marketing behind it (and that's probably what fell down with the Tamar Davis project). The production etc sound very different from what Prince was doing on the NewPowerSoul 1997/98 era AND his public persona and status is a lot higher after 2004 Musicology/RnRHOF/2007 superbowl etc. He is kind of "rock legend" status now so I don't think the bundle is for the same reasons as the NewPowerPack. i think prince learned from the whole tamar incident and thus he probably stuck 2 his guns and said 2 target, if u want me u have 2 package bria's as well man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

It might not even qualify for the charts. I'm sure prince isn't too worried either way. RIP

I think Prince presented the package to them, explained what he wanted to achieve and asked them what type of marketing and promotion deal could they offer. Now, he may have a deal where Bria will be used in Target ads as a model or actress while her music is playing (like Nivia did with Janet's "Rock Wit U" or Christina Aguilera did for her greatest hits package). I can definitely see that. I wonder if the videos will get any airplay on the video channels? **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

gubbins4ever said: It's a shame that Prince is going to support Target. This store and its ilk has made a terrible impact on the US, destroying inner cities, increasing vehicle miles traveled, producing unsightly sprawl, encouraging fragile and carbon-emitting global food supply lines, and harming local economies.
I hope an online-only option is available so that conscientious buyers can bypass Target. u kidding right.u need to move bro.this is america.dont shop there. stickman

Cinnie said: March 29th, the Sunday?? Does that make sense?
actually it does since the sunday papers come with circulars 4 sales in stores during that week. if someone were 2 pick up their papers and c the ads 4 the albums and they can purchase the album the same day the circulars come out, makes perfect sense. i think guns n roses latest album was done the same way. man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

YES there is a release date
Propably first only as download (live in Holland) and will have to search online for a "real" copy. That doesnt sound too hard considering Ebay or maybe Target.com. I dont think Prince will give it to Itunes because that will harm his own site.

True. I don't buy the Sunday papers, but Dept/supermarket store circular packs, where I live, gets delivered on Saturdays, religiously, so I guess maybe there'll be an ad in there for it. We shall see.
