2 of my favorite aspects of Prince music His unique "Minneapolis Sound" or Purple Music I've always loved that sound, and I'm glad he's pulled it back to the forefront I've always been drawn 2 and prefered Prince's guitar playing especially as a rock god, So I'm thrilled | |

Lotus will be on par with TRC but more accessible imo. TRC is his last great one but it's to dense for me to just throw on any time any place. | |

It depends on the tightness of the playing and the band he has. TRC and ONA were his best musically, his band lineup was flawless, since then the bands have been very sparse sounding and nothing special, kind of like most of the Emancipation band era. The last 2 albums are great musically IMO. Lyrics could be better, but that has never been Prince´s strong point. I would be satisfied if the new albums are as good as these two. | |

...the  children was a genius it was inspired by God..now the new albums r ALSO inspired but this time it is 3albums with 1 purpose..L-O-V-E..

lotusflow3r on its own will be a fan fave along with TRC, the gold ex. but it will take time to earn that status. as a whole, the album will be pushed even higher but many will have mixed reactions to mplsound and even more so on elixer which may make them hate on lotusflow3r aswell but, either way, as a whole package, it's going to be a gold experience like factor which is fantastic. a modern classic.
