the beatles come together
radiohead -creep
commodores-brickhouse.
insted of choosing less obvious stuff he goes for hits ,the only time he choose less known song to cover is when he play sly and the family stone,graham central station and james brown.
so my question is is prince a guy who likes to hear everything from his favourite artist or he only buys best of material ?

I would assume that Prince is familiar with more music than he chooses to cover.

I'd like to know what some of Prince's favorite songs are by various artist's.

I once heard Sheila E. say that a song was suggested to Prince and he actually liked it and wind up doing it. So I guess he has at times listened to others.He doesn't always go for the hits either.
