I hate the horns on the extended version of Anotherloverholeinyohead

I just wish they were not there..it adds too much jazz to the funk....

Not to say I dont LIKE the horns he added to other songs...but this song... just did not need any at all! It was fine just the way it was..

I agree completely. I love the original - one of my favourites...

The other day my friend asks me if there's an extended version, because he likes Prince's 12" versions and he likes Anotherloverholenyohead. I tell him, yeah there is one, but it's not as good as the album version cos there's too much horns going on!

I completely agree... the original version is in my top 5 or so Prince songs, the remix is not so great... the horns! They are SO irritating!

Count me in...as the minority. I LOVE the horns on this track.

he played this a lot in london during 21 nights & totally rocked out with this song. must say i love parade but this wasn't one of my faves. only when heard it live did i appreciate what he can do with this song & not dated
i don't recall the horns... there was some sky footage knocking about, outsanding stuff & no horns necessary

while I like the remix of the extended version, I feel like it goes on too long and I get bored. I wish there was a remix edit of this.

i can only imagine what extended 8 minute versions would
sound like now for songs like 3121 or black sweat.

that's one thing i hope we'll see from this new website
in the future, stretched out versions of current song.

After listening to this record again, where are the horns??? There are few near the begining but they are so low in the mix you really need to be listening to hear them.There are no horns in the extended part. Lots of piano, no horns.

The Album version sounds like it a mixed down / edit of the extended version

I love the Ext vers

i like both....

I just hated them all together in the song. It would be like adding horns to When Doves Cry or Black Sweat
