i'm curious too. especially with new reporst that "feel good, feel better"
is on mplsound (yay for that, i liked the snippet) and that there will be
a reworked version of a song from the One Nite Alone piano album on one of
the two new albums. weird.

or wait, could that be on bria's album? hmmm

if not a tracklist, it would be cool to know how many songs are
on each album.

is it just 10 or more?

There was a thread with what someone claims is the exact tracklist for Lotus Flow3r on here this morning, but I can't seem to find it now. It was indeed 10 tracks though.

I see the thread you're referring too. But thos orger claimed the 10 titles he listed were on LF but didn't mean that there were no other ones to add to this list.

Lotus Flower
Crimson And Clover
Colonized Mind
Boom
$
The Wall Of Berlin
Love Like Jazz
4 Ever
77 Beverley Place
Dreamer

I wasn't there but I was told this tracklist about 3 weeks ago or rather when i asked what songs were on it theses were the ones i was told and in that order.

These tracks have all appeared named in various articles so it's hardly a scoop.

Someone else who claims to have seen the site backed up this tracklist.

I would add that I was told the tracklist by someone who has claimed to have heard Lotus Flower and they said it's a very solid album, reminded them of a Rock Version of The Rainbow Children but was more diverse than they expected and the best couple of songs have yet to be heard. They also said F.U.N.K wouldn't have sounded out of place on the album but was not on disc the she heard.

I wonder how long each album/cd clocks in at.....didn't they change the USA chart rules ie. for each cd to count as a 'unit' each they each have to be 60 minutes or longer... ie when emancipation was released each set sold counted as 3 units - so therefore to go platnum Prince only had to sell 166,000 or so sets....

Lotus Flower sounds solid from what we'v heard so far...MPLSound (hate the title BTW) so far sounds pretty weak but we haven't heard much of it yet...and Elixer doesn't sound too bad - but certainly not a chart stopper...

its an interesting way to release the albums thats for sure...a mixed bag indeed..but maybe there's something there for all tastes...rock, funk and soul

I wonder how many outtakes or 'vault material' are on these albums... I kinda get the feeling that MPLSound is a mishmash, especially when it was reported that Prince 'made' the album using protools or something like that..was he just remixing old stuff and making them sound 'new' or were the tracks written specifically for editing in protools...I guess we'll never know... so far Lotus Flower sounds almost like it was all made in the same timeframe...the MPLSound tracks released so far sound like they were made around the same time as PFUNK...which in itself could have been made anytime in the last 5 years although for some reason it sounds about the same age as 3121....

I hope Prince at least acknowledges how the albums came about... although I doubt that will happen LOL
