In all honesty, I think that this is the most disappointing thread I've ever read on the org.

I am not a "fam", nor am I a "hater". I'm simply interested in Prince's music, and like to have a bit of fun here on the org from time to time. I don't care about Prince's private life too much nor do his eccentricities bother me a lot. I take him for who he is because I don't plan to marry him, I simply want to listen to his music.

I don't know who's crazier: an aging pop star who just seems to be unable to stop some odd behaviour and crazy decisions here and there, or so-called "fans" or "ex-fans" who spend lots and lots of their time bitching about an issue which alredy turned out to be an actual non-issue on page 1 of this f***ing mess of a thread.

Whoever put the stuff on DrFB is complete speculation. There might be some indications that Prince himself is behind all this, but no one here can tell with 100 % certainty. In spite of that, some people here present it as a fact and talk down to everyone who might show a trace of disagreement.

Sorry folks, but this thread makes Imago's "Prince, anal stimulation and..." publications on this website look like a candidate for an award in creative writing.

But anytime there is speculation that something silly or "not so good" is done and Prince MIGHT be behind it the haters will come with full force.

No need for Dr.FB's info if P's camp would just communicated to us straight up and direct. Or if Dr. FB's site is full of crap, P's camp should just come out and say they are misinformed and communicate to us clearly and clean up any speculation.

I realize we are playing by P's rules but don't blame the fans for "speculating" or being negative twoards P's camp when they contribute to the speculation and don't use a direct voice.

Much of the negativity from so called "x-fans" is due the business practices like the CB fiasco, NPG Magazine bust, not coming thru with cds advertised: NPGMC..etc. Yeah, we are over it but we are just saying. We don't wanna see it happen again, so we are vocal. And what for??? Because we do like P and don't wanna see his business run like a jackass or by jackasses. He deserves the best and so does his fans.

I'm not someone that believes P is perfect and also I'm still here. I consider some of these so called "x-fans" to be true fans. It's like we realize some things were messed up business wise in the past (and express that) but also believe sometime they will get it right??? The answer to this point is SOMETIMES they get it right. I'm not complaining I'm just trying to make you understand where some of us are coming from. Some of us do actually care. Judging the past I wouldn't hold my breathe on lotus getting it right, but that is the job of them to prove the so called "haters" wrong and actually come through with what they say.
