Lotus Flower Release Date: December 29, 2009 Label: Self-released Table of Contents Abstract More Prince on Prefix Comments Abstract As a follow-up to his 2007 album, Planet Earth, Prince announced he'd be releasing two solo albums in 2009, including Lotus Flower, an album the Purple One promised would feature a lot of guitar heroics. Prince has always been great on guitar (as evidenced by his Super Bowl performance), but he hasn't really let his inner Hendrix out at album length. Among the songs on the album is a cover of Tommy James and the Shondells' "Crimson and Clover." | |
