Prince beauty tips

Prince should write a book on health and beauty tips, I want to look that good at fifty, he should share his secrets, diet, exercise, skin cremes, makeup whatever. How many would purchase that book? I would smile

He has stated what cosmetics he uses, exercise plan and his eating habits are.

U open up ur eyes and come 2 realize
u simply imagined this
So u lean over and give her a kiss
Here on earth, here on earth,

Here on earth, here on earth

For the hair... olive oil
For the skin... foods rich in antioxidants
For overall metabolism...
eat a balanced diet, alot of fruits and vegetables and as little meat and fatty foods as possible, use only plant based oils and fats.
Drink 6-8 glasses of water per day, also try herbal teas and lay off the soda, beers, rum and heavy caffeine.
Don't deny your body of sleep (especially when it tells u to go lay down and close your eyes).
Deal with stress constructively.
If u can't do heavy exercise - take walks - forget the train, bus and your vehicle at times - it won't hurt to walk 4/5 blocks.

Try this for 6mths - 1yr and see the difference

As far as exercise, I remember seeing on an interview that he was asked what kind of work out he does. Prince said being on stage is a workout. But that was several years back.

most fruits and vegetables like cherrys apples and most green veggies are rich in antioxidants and help to destroy free radicals that tend to speed up the aging process, supplements like selenium help strengthen cellular tissues

Yeah, sometimes he does. But he's still one of the nicest looking 50 year olds I've seen. The best looking I've seen is a close relative of mine, who is now several years older than Prince but still looks much younger than him.

I'm amazed at how he has been able to grow older so wonderfully in his face, considering he was a "all day, all night-er" as a young man and supposedly didn't sleep often.

The Top 20 Foods Highest In Antioxidants
small red beans
wild blueberries
red kidney beans
pinto beans
cultivated blueberries
cranberries
artichokes
blackberries
prunes
raspberries
strawberries
red delicious apples
Granny Smith apples
pecans
sweet cherries
black plums
russet potatoes
black beans
plums
gala apples

Fruits
Many fruits are high in antioxidants, packed with vitamins, and beneficial in a myriad of ways. These include cranberries, red grapes, peaches, raspberries, strawberries, red currants, figs, cherries, pears, guava, oranges, apricots, mango, red grapes, cantaloupe, watermelon, papaya, and tomatoes

Dried Fruits
With the water removed, the antioxidant ratio is higher in dried fruits than in fresh. They can easily be carried with you in your purse, briefcase or car and they make a quick healthy snack. Consider taking along dried pears, plums, apples, peaches, figs, dates and raisins

Vegetables
Didn't your mother always tell you to eat your vegetables? Broccoli, spinach, carrots and potatoes are all high in antioxidants, and so are artichokes, cabbage, asparagus, avocados, beetroot, radish, lettuce, sweet potatoes, squash, pumpkin, collard greens and kale

Spices and Herbs
Using lots of spices in cooking is good. Many are loaded with antioxidants, like cinnamon, oregano, turmeric, cumin, parsley, basil, curry powder, mustard seed, ginger, pepper, chili powder, paprika, garlic, coriander, onion and cardamom. Herbs include sage, thyme, marjoram, tarragon, peppermint, oregano, savory, basil and dill weed. All contribute complexity and flavor to your meals, but also are high in antioxidants

Cereals and Nuts
Your morning corn flakes, oatmeal and granola bars pack a healthy punch, as do walnuts, hazelnuts, pistachio nuts, almonds, cashews, macadamia nuts and even that peanut butter sandwich

Beverages
Contrary to popular belief, most of our antioxidants come from beverages. Apple juice, cider, tomato juice, pomegranate juice and pink grapefruit juice seem obvious, and green tea has become very popular as a source, but black tea and plain tea have high levels also. Here's good news for those who love that cup of joe in the morning: coffee is high but should be consumed in moderation. Note that adding milk to coffee or tea blocks antioxidants. Speaking of moderation, red wine and especially beer (since it comes from grains) provide a big dose, and the healthy effects of moderate alcohol consumption have been well documented

Oh saying he looks 50 is not meant as any kind of insult.
I think we get hung up on the only way to "look good" is to look younger, when there's nothing wrong with looking one's age.

Well, your average 50 year old doesn't wear full face, winged eyeliner and high heels. lol

But also, what I'm saying is...what does "50" look like?? And why is there a standard of what it should look like when we all got different faces and skin?
I think we tend to have a preconceived older picture in our minds.
Today is not like say 40 years ago where folk just looked like the drab town librarian when they hit 40 or 50. A lot of it has to do with how we perceive age IMO.

I agree, people judge each other by too many numbers and labels, that's bad. Most people wouldn't even know how old Prince really was by looking at him.

good job! we get more antioxidents from beverages becuase it is already in liquid form and our bodys don't have to work to split the fiber from the fruits and viggies to put it in lamens term. when ppl tell me I don't "look" 33 I am like "what is 33 supposed to look like?" at the end of the day it is about being healthy and feeling good about yourself as you are, but who wouldn't mind aging as gracefully as Prince and Sade?
