21 Nights is up for an NAACP Image Award "21 Nights" is listed under "Outstanding Literary Work-Biography/Autobiography." It's up against "Baldwin’s Harlem: A Biography of James Baldwin," "The Black List" by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders and Elvis Mitchell, "The Legs Are The Last To Go" by Diahann Carroll, and "Maya Angelou: A Glorious Celebration." Never trust anything spoken in the presence of an erection.
