gayle on keyboards,andre on bass ,dez on guitar ,
dr fink on keys,.booby z on drums.

its my top ten ever unofficial recording of prince
because it represents the first ever recorded gig of
prince that circulate.
prince and his band sound nothing less then amazing.
bobby z kills the drum on this gig,and this gig is also
a proof bobby z was a realy good ,
in the pocket drummer much better then kirk.

most of the songs played have very interesting breaks full of unison playing of band members.
before i feel 4 you prince introduced the band
and when it was time to introduce himself prince
said a killer line:i'm just a freak baby
and the audiance cheered.
also the extended part of i feel 4 u prince and
his band sing "when i'm with you all i wanna do is screw.
there's something about your body baby"
and on that gig prince played distorted guitar on i
wanna be your love which i never heard him do after that.

prince and dez play psyhodelic riffs during extended part of i wanna be your lover.
and prince plays great guitar solos on why you wanna treat me so bad,just as long as were together,soft and wet.
setlist was :soft and wet,why you wanna treat me so bad,still waiting,sexy dancer,i feel for u,just as long as were together.

Since everybody has a well-worn copy of this ubiquitous bootleg and we've all played it to death, I'm surprised anyone bothers to come on the Org to talk about it anymore.

Only joking, I dig that boot, mine has a big gaping hole of silence in it though on one of the songs (forget which) Is that the same for everyone?. It's definately interesting hearing P as the undercard though.

It's a cool bootleg for nostalgic purposes. If I'm correct Gayle played keys on it? Haven't listened to it for awhile. The band played great and had something to prove.

That type of excitement is missing in a lot the bands today. I also miss Rick (R.I.P).

I would class this concert as one of the 25 essential concerts to own a copy of.
