I'm quite looking forward to Lotus Flower, about time prince Rocked out a bit, Wall of Berlin is so cool as is Crimson, 4ever is urrgh but Colonized mind has great guitar.

However MPLSound fills me with no excitement.

I expect Choloate invasion part 2.

Wow. I was just listening to The Chocolate Invasion last night thinking how much i liked it. Not all of its great, but there's some good stuff there.

I have no expectations, and its the same for me with all new music for ALL artists. I hope I like it but if not, oh well. Time will tell.

Honestly, I'm hoping that it's exactly like Chocolate Invasion / Slaughterhouse. I dig that stuff a lot, it's not Prince at his best but it's still fun and classic Prince... and most of the songs are catchy... so, yeah, I'm sure I will like Lotusflow3r the most because it's "serious" Prince music, but for what it is (trippy, experimental pop - just like the NPGMC stuff) MPLSound should be fun anyway.

looking forward too it very much. there'll be a guitar/rockish album
and this one will be experimental funky pop. what's not to love?

people are gonna bitch and moan regardless. i was listening to those
two albums (chocolate invasion/slaughterhouse) over the weekend and
they both have more songs i like than don't like.

plus, i think the mplsound album is going to be a step beyond those
albums in sound and composition. i'm expecting more weirdness and a
lot more authentic prince beats.

I'm sort of amazed. I guess it happens with all fanatics. Reminds me somewhat of that episode of West Wing, where Josh logs into his fan website and starts replying back to the posters, quickly to realize they're all sort of crazy, mean-spirited people.

Not that we're all that way - I don't think I'm crazy, though I'll admit I do love Prince more than I probably should :p Music though, that's about it. He sorta' annoys me, but that's neither here nor there.

That's not what I'm here to talk about - I'm here to talk about the music, and man, the music - the soundtrack of my damn life.

Not all of my life has been perfect note for note. It's the oddities of existence which make things worthwhile.

i expect the album to have more than one song.

I hoping there's going to be more happy surprises like 'F.U.N.K' and less stuff like 'Never Be Another Like Me'.

I also hope the concert or shows offer a venue to set the mood for each experience. 3 levels

With a title like MPLSound and that post about Controversy the saga continues it's hard for me not too get excited about this.

I love There'll there never be another like me so I can't wait to get my hands on this.

I'm hoping for an album that recalls MPLSound and think to extent the first song we've heard certainly does to a large degree, however I do agree it also has alot in common with Rave/NPGMC tracks, which again with me is fine.

I think Rave was a very solid album and if there stuff as good as Undisputed and Strange But True on it I'll be over the moon.

I do have one major hope for this CD. I hope Prince isn't too serious on this CD. I hope he sounds like he's having fun and not trying to solve the worlds problems through Jehovah or whatever. Not that there's anything wrong with that but he's got to get out of the Kingdom Hall at some point, ya know? There'll Never B Another Like Me excites me in that we may get more of that fun sound in there. We'll see.
