21 Nights book nominated for NAACP Image Award Prince always finds a way to be nominated for an Image award. Even when he hasn't done a record in a while. The nominations just came out and his book is one of the books nominated for best non-fiction book.
Hopefully he will win so he can find an excuse to perform...lol We can only hope. All you others say Hell Yea!!  | |

An NAACP Image award for that book?? Although I'm not against Prince receiving props when props are due, but with all due respect the 21 Nights book sucks! Most of it is recycled song lyrics described as "poetry" and a few biblical quotes and artsy phrases here and there thrown in for good measure. It's a picture book and not a good one at that! Throughout the book Prince's face is obscured or cut in half by the binding or covered over with words! Not only that, there are more pictures of the hotel and his band than there are of him, plus they've been airbrushed and Photoshopped like crazy, everyone just looks fake IMO.
