We've all dreamed about Prince at one time or another.
Some people believe dreams to be prophetic. Some believe dreams to be the resting mind trying to resolve conflicts in your everyday life. Still others believe their dreams to be the state in which they spiritually connect to other people.

When you've dreamed about Prince, what are your dreams like?
Do you remember many details? How often or how many dreams have you had of Prince?
Do you feel that your spirit is somehow mingling with his during this experience?
Or do you at least think it's due to some subconscious resolution that you seek when it involves Prince (Wanting this or that album, or wanting to see hi live, or feeling inadequate as a fan cause you just don't support him enough?).


I once had a dream about Prince where we were all in this large, midevil looking, banquet room. I was seated amongst a dozen other guests and Prince had us all take our shoes off before we walked into the room and were seated. He kept his high heels on so as to bring his head at least level with most of our shoulders, and was seated at the left hand side of the table in a huge, ornate chair fit for a king.
We were all silent. You could have heard a pin drop.
Though I never saw it with my own eyes due to the fact that I awoke before the meal was brought out, I knew that by the end of the dinner we'd be dining on human flesh.


not sure what that dream was about though.

I have had a few over the years where Prince was just there...a couple of dreams when Prince said something...

A couple of nights ago, I had a very vivid Prince dream...We were talking on the phone...and I was driving in the mountains and I could see beautiful pine trees everywhere...and there was frost covering them.

Prince was telling me to have a beautiful day driving and that He would see me soon. Then I saw a bright reflection from the sun, and I woke up.

I find that I never hear Prince's voice in any of my dreams. It's like he's silent though still speaking.

I am no dream interpreter, but I think that this dream has many symbols that are standing for something else.

The Dream Stela is a rectangular stone with a rounded top, that was set up between the front legs of the Great Sphinx at Giza.


Although the monument puprorts to date to the early years of the reign of Thutmosis IV of the 18th Dynasty, there are errors and irregularities in orthography that are inconsistent with this date and type of monument. It is possible that the text is an attempted restoration of a damaged original that was dated to Thutmosis IV, or that the entire monument is of a later date altogether and was intended as an attempt to enhance the importance of the Great Spinx.

The top part of the stela shows the king, on the left and on the right oriented towards the centre, bringing an offering to the Sphinx. For practical, esthetical and relgious reasons, the Sphinx has about the same size as the king. This meant that the Sphinx, in real life much bigger and higher than a human being, had to be displayed as if it were lying on a podium, decorated with the recessed panelng motif known as serekh.

The text below this offering scene, tells the story of a young prince, the future Thutmosis IV, fell asleep in the shadow of the Great Sphinx after a hunting expedition in the desert.

In his sleep, the god Harmachis, believed to have been represented by the Sphinx, appears before the young prince, and promises to raise him to the throne, in return for the prince freeing his statue from the sands. Unfortunately, the text breaks off soon after the prince woke up, but the fact that Thutmosis IV did indeed rise to the throne means that this story had a happy ending.

I know I had one of him when he was having a concert and I dreamed I was on stage with him and it came true... Talk about a dream come true or even deja vu!

I only remember a couple of Prince dreams (though I've had many). In one, he was playing a concert at...like...a VFW hall or something. In a room with plywood paneling, no less. And he was there in full drag...make-up, wild outfit...the whole nine.

In the other dream, he invited me to his house. (I don't remember that part of the dream, just that I somehow ended up there - and my arrival wasn't a surprise.) We were in the kitchen of his house (which was in a bizarro-world 1970s style) and he said to me, "You must be hungry. Can I get you something to eat?"

I decided to "test" his vegetarian status...and said, "Thanks! You know...I could really go for a peanut butter and bacon sandwich." He gave me kind of a sly smile, leaned toward me, and said, "I like that, too. But don't tell anyone."

Oh! I just remembered another one. Prince decided to market a line of vegan cookies...and asked me to help him with branding them. He handed me a cellophane package with two cookies that had a label on it in the same colors and script as the Gett Off video. I can't remember what name he was proposing, but I took one look at the ingredients and said, "Okay...your first mistake is doing vegan cookies in the first place. I'm afraid I can't help you with this one."

My Prince dreams are all sadly one-sided sexual romps. Except for the one where I was his soulful backup singer. Afterwards, we had soup while "Scandalous" played in the background.

Then I woke up and realized I had left my computer on all night playing Prince. My poor abstract brain is so worn out from figuring out my past and the world as a whole that there's no real room for dreams about my favorite artists...
