for some reason, this is the 1st time in 17 years, im not excited by a new Prince album. i havent even been bothered 2 listen 2 the new songs
i will buy the album as soon as it is released, but it doesnt worry me if its next week or next year

Try not comin to the org and going without anything from Prince til the album drops and see if u feel the same way then. Maybe u need to go through a withdrawal

I hope his new ablum is not a 10 or 11 tracker..
because if i just heard half of his new album on some crapy web sight...

I am thoroughly excited.

I am not excited either.. every time I build up a prince cd in my mind.. usually the actual cd never really turns out that good.. so I guess i'll just hear it when i hear it, and hopefully find a track or two worth keeping.

Well, I don't feel the same way. I ALWAYS get EXCITED by NEW PRINCE MUSIC and ALBUMS. He's the BEST!

You know I am 38 and am LONG past the days where I am excited about any new album by anyone. However, I have to admit, after hearing those new tracks the other day I am a little stoked...I love when he rocks out heavy on guitar...um My Guitar Gently Weeps, from RRHOF anyone??? But honestly, the only way i keep in the loop is checking out this website, if it wasn't for this there is no way I would even know what the heck is going on in the world of Prince music.

I nearly peed myself when he debuted those songs on the radio so I would have to say I can't wait to hear the rest!

Please, Prince does not need promotion.
If he ever releases another great song it will be everywhere instantly.

If he keeps releasing what he releases now a days, they will be appropriately admired by the few fams here, and disappear into the back pages of Prince music along with everything else he has released after his peak.

I'm not saying any of the new songs are truly "great", but CM and the C&C cover are pretty darn good, and maybe some people who don't frequent the org or go searching for Prince news on the web would like them too.
