Who Posseses the Least? We could debate until Christmas of next year who has the most Prince music in their collection. I am interested in who has the least (probably easier to quantify as well). Is there anyone out there who has only a couple of albums, or no Prince music at all? I abdicated the throne in Ithaca, but now I am...

I prolly possess the least. Grenadians don't dig Prince much and if there are any that do...they're in the closet. U won't see a Prince album in stores here cause, according to the store owners, people don't ask for anything bout Prince. U won't really hear funky music blastin from someone's house, unless it's a Sunday and the radio station decides to play it cause they can't find anything else at the moment. Generally, the West Indian culture doesn't bother much with funky music, much less Prince. It's mostly about reggae, reggaeton, soca, calypso and african drumbeat music...hip hop and rap here and there too. Alot of gospel and as for country and western - hardly ever. I'll admit that wat I do have of Prince have been downloaded It'll be a whole heap ah hassle to get Prince albums, DVDs etc.
All I have are 35 tracks and 10 videos which include tours, movies, award show performances and small clips The bright side of all this is that I'm feelin the thrill that those that grew up wit him felt back in the day. Discoveries I swear the words "HATER" is wayyy over-rated...smh | |
