Best Prince 12" or extended version I would say the 12" version of "Mountains", 10 minutes of superb music, funk. Bliss, Leeds, Wendy & Lisa, Z, Fink and Prince himself. I own it in vinyl, I have been looking for it on CD, can anybody help? | |

I agree, TheKid. I'd say the Mountains 10 minute version on vinyl is my favorite 12" right now (and no, I've never seen it on CD. Have you tried making one with your computer with a program that makes WAV files from vinyl?)
I also love the version of Housequake on the b-side of the U Got The Look 12". | |

I totally agree that "Mountains" 12" is the best of 'em all. The best thing The Revolution ever produced.
I got it off Kazaa and burned it to a CD. I also got Anotherlover and paisley park 12" from Kazaa too. I think this is the only way you're gonna get it at the moment. But, I think there is a boot out there with all the 12" singles and b-sides, I am not positive on that though. | |

I gotta go with Mountains, extended version too, just ahead of America and I Wish U Heaven. Mountains is on CD, a bootleg of course called Prince: The Rare Mixes. Also has Hot Thing, Raspberry Beret, Housequake Hello and some others mostly from 85 - 87. No America though!
Its more a Pirate than a bootleg really as its clearly just been transferred off vinyl, so if you love that hiss and crackle its great. | |
