Back 2 the Book.

Right b4 night 17, The book reads,

BREAK IT DOWN...

Amid the sound of city noise
They lay xposed
Naked girl, naked boy, fully clothed
With his pen ink in tongue, he writes it there
A single word beneath her hair
It's early in the day 4 their relationship
In truth he hardly knows her xcept 4 her lips

This is a sweet poem.
I wonder what the word is that Prince writes.
I think I know.

seriously though, i like that poem. immediately noticed it when
i flicked through the book. there was one other one, with lots
of scientific stuff in it, which made me think that perhpas, if
he really wanted to, he could still release songs with lyrics
that actually said something genuinely beautiful and mysterious

this is my favourite poem from the book & my guess is he's teasing us with words from a future song.. it is indeed very burlesque verse!
maybe one day we'll find out what the word is..

.....this poem can be interpeted as if they two have never seen each other face-to-face...they both are in the world communicating through time-n-space..."city noise" could be the world around them...communicating through thought...beneath her hair...is her brain...communicating through stimulization...early in the day...can mean they know the essence of the relationship does exist....beacuse in truth he hardly knows her xcept 4 her lips....her words...her knowledge...her communication.....mzsexybaby

I believe God is prepairing them both, apart.. so he can bring them together it's is like this, sometimes we have to go through the pain to find the pleasure,throught the dark to find the light. I also think he meant "he only knew her lips', as in he had kissed her, so therefore familiar with the touch only.
