All shook up This song, is a Prince original or a cover?
I was wondering this, since it really sounds like a rock version of 'Turn me loose'. The song was performed live at the Indigo last year, Aug.28th 2007.

"All Shook Up" is one of the many hit songs of Elvis Presley. It reached the top of all three U.S. charts (pop, country and R&B), staying there for eight weeks in 1957, from April 13 through May 27. In the U.S., it is regarded as the top song of 1957. Otis Blackwell composed this song, with compositional additions by Elvis himself, who is also credited as lyricist. It was ranked #352 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

I am curious, actually; did he play the "Oh baby" part on this date for the first time and decided to turn that into Turn Me Loose or did he incorporate an already excisting version of Turn Me Loose into All Shook Up? Anyways. I like All Shook Up in ANY version better than Turn Me Loose, which is just a whack track.

Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, which I LOOOVE!! What a great and happy coincidence.

i liked prince's version that night, totally didn't sound like all shook up at all man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81
