For me its a tie between New Power Soul and The Rainbow Children

A totally blind, uninspired dance-funk album and a totally misguided, brainwashed bunch of empty jazz-rock.

NEWS. The only irritating album from Prince I can think of. The songs are experimental, yes, but not in the good sense. There are some decent segments here and there but nothing great ever happens, like it does on all other Prince albums.

Dude the rainbow children is a great album...has some really nice gems in there like 1+1+1=3, mellow, she loves me for me, muse to the pharoah and some other good tracks.

New power soul for me is the weakest prince album...It feels as though he did it in 2 days. sounds really rushed. The one is an exceptional song though.

There aren't any.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BEST? I DONT HAVE MUCH DUE TO FINANCES BUT WANT TO ASK ALL FAMILY MEMBERS FOR A P CD FOR XMAS. THEY ALL THINK I'M TOTALLY NUTS FOR LOVING HIS MUSIC AND THIS WILL REALLY THROW THEM OVER THE EDGE. I LOVE HIS SLOWER STUFF AS I HAVE MUCH OF THE EARLY DAYS. HELP!!!!

I dont think any P albums ever annoyed or irritated me.....most moved me in some way, some more than others.
TRC and NPS are like night and day. TRC is much more complex in it's musicianship and much more enlightening in many ways..probably his best album since TGE,while NPS has a 3 great songs...The One,Come on and Wasted Kisses,,surrounded by some throw aways.

Everything after Parade annoys me. He had a few songs that was ok and listenable but the rest sucked.

There are no annoying albums. But songs, "Guitar" is and "Letitgo." I still like both of them though.
