My opinion: I don't see Mr. Nelson as being brave enough to do it, but if he did, good on him. For all of his being so "different and eccentric", he'd really be living up to it by opening a different door. I'd be over the moon actually.

Truth is, the vast majority of the fan community however would be completely undone, and would consider this woman ugly and not "worthy" of Prince - blithering idiots. This is Prince's doing, however. He created this monster, as he set the precedent for his perception of beauty by the chicks he selected for his videos and the women that he dated and/or married. There was no diversity or variance - a completely homogenous subset of the population.

My God, so many people here went into full body dry heaves at the mere mention that Prince may have been romantically linked to Tamar. If I had a nickel for everytime I read that someone said Tamar was ugly, I could retire a rich woman with many lovers. So unfortunate.

I'd love to see those who are the most critical and venomous have to suffer one third of the scrutiny and judgment that these Prince chicks endure. They'd buckle under the pressure immediately.
