PROS & CONS of being a Prince fan Pro's:
Funky music, great diversity of musical genre's, interesting character, meet other cool Prince fans Con's Eveyone thinks Prince is a deranged homosexual therefore everyone thinks u r a deranged homosexual, music has seemed to of peaked and there are new exciting artists emerging who probably deserve my paid downloads more, inevitably meet other perculiar Prince fans  Wake up children, dance the dance electric... there isn't much time.... who farted?  ...was it u?  | |

Pro's
Best Musican Ever!Tons of Product! Changed Pop Culture and is the benchmark for all Pop Artist! Even old artist say Prince is well The Shit! I enjoy his fan base and hearing everyone opinions! Its pretty nice to see online that most wish they were his manager and bad mouth the guy day & night  Great to see that Prince Fans are not cult members - they are actually 180 from that 
Con's Nothing. I can careless he is a complete asshole, talks about dumb crap and is completely out of touch, just keep playing music live and releasing a new projects every 1.5 years  | |

PRO:great music,great influence on culture,play his music live and he gives one heck of a show.his strength in his faith,inspirational to many.the beautiful women whom ive met who goes to the concerts,its nice to know people understands the music. Pros: Being witness to absolute musical genius! Absolutely great music! Some of the best EVER put on wax! Being witness to the most outstanding live performances EVER done! Being around some of the greatest people in the world who understand it all, like you do.
Cons: Being a Prince fan is like being in a Strange Relationship! I KNOW he's a complete and utter jack ass and I've tried to quit him...I really have! But no matter how much he pisses me off, I just can't seem to get him out of my system. I'll watch a video or hear a certain song and I'm right back where I started. 
I'm sure some ass will say..."Just stop watching his videos and listening to his songs." To that I must say..."Life without Prince's music in it...is far more tragic than the complete and utter jack ass...that he's become!" Pro's Great music, great lyrics, great images, lots of great feelings (feelings which got based during puberty, long time ago, I know but they are still there). He changed me. He added something very special to my life. He was my support in a very shitty period and after that he was my positivity fix. He still is from time to time and I love him for that. I haven't had that with any stranger. Con's I don't have any really. He has given me and I paid him for that so fair deal 
And nowadays I enjoy him 90% for free  | |

| Pros: Still finding music of his I've never heard. I love his diversity, the way he can change with the times, his lyrics can make me melt and still gorgeous to look at. (don't care what people say about make up, I use it too) There are not enough adjectives to describe all of the pros. This site - it's always entertaining.....
Cons: His lyrics can make me melt (no real relationship has ever done that). He doesn't come to concert around my area.(but he doesn't have to) I get way to involved with a man I've never met. (and most I've met aren't worth getting so involved with) He IS like an addiction. Once he has gotten you, you can try to quit but it does not work. Totally agree with the statement before me. | |

PRO's= the music speaks for itself. The man puts the in f ne and the way he speaks is enough to make u
CON's= underappreciated by most, I think. Few people near me know he even had a career after Purple Rain (let alone b4 it ). He's dismissed as being a freak more often than not by people who don't take the chance to get to know his work.

Pros: Lotso diversity (especially with 3 dozen albums... and tons of bootlegs if you get bored of that!). Nostalgia and awesome funness.

Pros:
--Knows (or at least at one time knew) how to mix a pop hook with quirkiness: i.e., no other artist could have made songs like 7, or Thieves in the Temple, or even When Doves Cry into hits --For over 20 years he kept me guessing from album to album and was never boring --Being a Prince fan has always been like being in an exclusive club...went from 15 million to 3 million to about 300,000 but I'm proud to be one of the fans that didn't move on --Almost never disappointed with a live performance from the man...he has got that down to a science Cons --Explaining, justifying his quirks to others---the name change thing is still almost impossible to explain to non-fans --Feeling more and more disconnected from Prince because his religious views are just so damn restrictive (not that I'm judging...) ---Understanding why someone who has so much money and so much success seems so excessively greedy about money made from his product (thought money didn't matter 2night P?) --Having the feeling that he could care less about the committment that any of us, the hardcore, have made to his career. It's his prerogative and no one put a gun to our heads but damn we have put up with some pretty quirky crap and stayed loyal...does Prince care? All good things they say never last... | |
