What do you think is Prince's angriest song? Well, started the "Happiest" thread... so let me think of some angry songs.
1. Irresistable Bitch Prince kinda goes off on some serious-ass resentment. Being only 5'7 myself, I kind could understand that line... "And this is for why I wasn't born like my brother, handsome and tall!" LOL (I'm okay on the handsome part, but my brother is 5'11, so I've gotten some good strokes in as a result of that angst too! LOL) 2. Computer Blue "Somebody please please tell me what is wrong with me" lol 3. Bob George Prince blows away some cops, and treats his woman like shit in this classic lol "I got a gun. You think I don't? Then what's this? Oh, you quiet now... you quiet now!" LOL Okay... and your 3 angriest? The public is squeezin' you kiddo. You'd better kick ass on your next album or else!

I suspect he was inspired by watching a series of Quentin Tarantino movies. Count the days

One of my favorite songs. We could speculate for hours what this song is really about. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Honestly I believe that anger exists and rightfully so in the song, "Race."
Racism is angersome because it is so ignorant, however, Prince expresses that anger so creatively in the song, we can also see, how making a point in music, shapes the world 4 the better, and as that spirit moves and quickens hearts to that equality...The anger subsides. Eye Hate U put some purple fear in me.
Gosh, if I EVER EVER dated Prince, I'd probably be the quietest girlfriend he ever had. Y'all ever hear the extended mix of that song. The whole "I woulda knocked you off" part just curled my hair till I looked like Shirley Temple over here! I love a Man who:
Wears More Make Up Than Me. Wears Four Inch Stilleto Boots. Changes His Name To An Unpronouncable Symbol. Who Changes His Name Back From An Unpronouncable Symbol. Oh And Most Importantly, Who Is Sexy Little Drop Of Butterscotch

The whole "I woulda knocked you off" part just curled my hair till I looked like Shirley Temple over here! Thanks for pointing that out, I just listened to the extended version again. It is scarey. The whole song is full of hate (obvously from the title) BUT the music is so beautiful and his voice is lovely, it would have been much better if the song was called I Love You and he changed the lyrics, the song is a bit disturbing, wonder who the unfortunate girl was who pissed him off big time.

No doubt about it. He's done some angry stuff, sometimes as a posture so most of it I just think of as a creative tactic rather than real emotion. But he does have fury which all great rockers must. My choice would go to Avalanche because the rage is not a put on. All the hatred, all the self-loathing, the self-denial, the catering to white audiences, the crossover compromises seems to come out in his voice and in his chords. Gives me chills and since it isn't that old of a song, proves to me that our man is not dead yet.
