Does Lion Of Judah grow on you gradually?

First I didn't care much for the song, then I began to accept it, and finally I enjoyed it. I'm not saying it's a new When Doves Cry or Kiss, far from it, I'm just saying some Prince songs have a way of growing after listening to them a number of times.

I liked this song right away. It's apologetic..."Sitting on the floor of an all white room, feeling like the color blue."

When it comes to liking something Prince sings about, I get pretty detailed about things...Knowing that Prince is trying to get a message through is appreciated automatically...I worry for Prince because He's been hurt by people and business, and for Prince to not be certain that someone loves him, gives the song a sad edge, yet the heart of gold that Prince has declares that the trumpets will sound..and this level of certainty is worthy of praise in my eyes.

I really don't know how deeply fans have studied Prince...all I know is how I look at things.

Every song is a piece of art in Prince's collection...and I love how Prince is consistantly different and informative, beyond the natural talent he has to play guitar and piano.

Liked it instantly. One of the best tracks of the 00s, beats anything and everything on Musicology and 3121 hands down (not difficult I know).

'Have liked this song since. It's a good, traditional rock & roll jam. ~(turn it up)~ The guitar solo is hot.

The lyrics show a certain vulnerability...~we ladies like that kinda stuff~ and stirs your heart. When the song ends there is a feeling of triumph.

Wow Tame! u r wonderful with your writing.hug I always enjoy your posts. I wish I had your writing skills. What u just said above is so true and beautifully written. Thank u 4 expressing my feelings as well. I totally love this song. I always put it on repeat. 4 me it’s a very sad song that I can totally relate 2.

I have expressed many times how much I love PE. In due time it will grow on some of the haters of this CD.

Well, sorta...

When I first listened to Planet Earth, only Planet Earth and Chelsea Rodgers stood out. I was listening to the album passively (whilst doing other things).

On the fourth listen, Lion of Judah is what I gravitated toward. I started playing the album with that track first. It's still my favorite song on the album.
