This is a great Idea....

If Prince does another book in the future...It should be covered in Purple Velvet and shaped like a Purple Rain drop. No words have to be on the outside.

See Now. I know what I'm doing. Now Let's get some asses gigglin' and some photographers collectin' and snappin'...We got a Purple Rain Anniversary 2 deal with.

I take it you're proposing a book version of Purple Rain. You do realize that in addition to lovely, sexy photographs of Prince there will be pics of Morris and Apollonia.

Just pointing that out. LOL.

The beginning can be Prince photo's from up until that time or, photo's from the "Purple Rain Tours."..and the last third of the book can be Prince's last 25 years, and what he has been doing.
I would keep the book roughly the same size as "21 Nights," although it would be slightly wider and taller (due 2 the tip of the raindrop.)

And if someone has passed away...There can be an "In Loving Memory" at the end of the 2cd third.

The first page of the book can be the sheet music for "Purple Rain."
And perhaps the sheet music can exist along side of certain stills from the movie.
Prince and Applonia on the bike...next 2 the sheet music 4, "Take me with U." etc.

When I think about it...It wouldn't be in exact thirds by any means, that would be too thick.

I'm just saying the opening and the closing need 2 be Prince alone.

I made a prototype today...smaller that the size I would expect. It's a very nice idea.

It would be a Raindrop bound at the bottom. The pages fold toward U.

I used a sketchbook and blue velvet, that is all that I had to work with.

I thought if the center of the book were cast members with a "movie still picture," and a piece of the script, and the following page was a recent photo and up 2 date information. The beginning of the book would be Prince and his movie stills, and the back, would be devoted 2 Prince now.

4 example, if the center was 10 pages...5 in the opening 4 Prince and 5 at the back.

The book could have equally spaced music sheets as spacers.

The book could have a photo stand attatched to the back so that it could sit up-right. It could come with a pick-clip 2 secure the pages.

The front sleeve could be a "Purple Rain," DVD. And the back sleeve could be a redone, "Purple Rain," cd...of all of the songs with their alterations if any.

I do believe it would be a nice anniversary collection piece, and certainly a nice book for display. I've got mine...it's just small, blue and empty...
