Most songs on the Rainbow Children album.
I disagree with Sister. Many people still seem to think its a song about gloryfing 'incest' simply to provocate, while it actually goes deeper: its about the confusion and alianation a 16 yo 'boy' feels about his 'relationship' with its half-sister who is twice as old. The main message IMO is that he feels used and betrayed by his half-sister. Listen to the lyrics during the bridge for some insight. To conclude: i find Sister a rather bleak and honest song concerning a subject that could easily be handled in a banal way. | |

Do You really believe that the song is twisted? I don't. It's a sad description of a relationship of a father that beat his son. It's a sad song, that sadly, there are children that have been abused. The song describes a sad event...although if U talk about movie concepts based on real life happenings..this song expresses an idea. As "Sister," does on a different level of something that is considered immoral. If Prince wrote a song about the devil...would that be considered twisted?
