One of my favorites

The first time I heard the Come album, the only songs that made ANY impact on me in other words, they came off as interesting and were nonetheless memorable, haha.

Come and Letitgo and probably Pheromone were the only three songs that came off as interesting and ones that I liked everything else just fell through the cracks.

But Letitgo caught my attention because before listening to it (as I did with any new album I got), I looked at the album insert. I "decoded" the mirror message inside and when I heard the 2nd verse of this song, I was like "these words are familiar"

The lyrics are catchy as hell and musically as well

there's a lot going on in this song. I see elements of his transition from Nona to Mayte, I see elements of his issues with Warners and yet I also think that he's right back here again in some small way.

Some people dislike this track... can´t see why tho... its not an obvious commercial choice for a single at all but it actually contains some of his most personal lyrics and its unusual syncopation is quite inventive and funky. I rate it highly

I think it would be great in a night club. It's a smooth dance song.
and Loose!...just 2 mention, is one of my favorite dance songz.

With so many Come threads, i ordered and received a copy of Come in the mail today.
I first bought Come when it was first released but lost it somewhere, it has never been among the most cherished Prince albums but tolerable for a 90's album.

I place my cd in the player to play letigo and go back to work.
Great song, I’m digging it until the next track, next comes that stupid stupid Orgasm song and I quickly throw the cd out of the player and toss the cd and case somewhere, I don’t know where.

Jeez, the 90's a horrid Prince era, he had the sensibilities of retarded teenager.

One day I may need to but another Come CD
