It was exciting when I was so impressionable that I was blown away when he was nasty on one track and then flipped it around on another track. Prince can no longer write from his gut because he no longer thinks like a randy 25 year-old! I'm sorry... We will never get a boxed set with Extraloveable or Electric Intercourse and G-spot...I never thought that Prince would lose his mind and become older and more mature. Prince didn't curse on every song in his heyday but now he feels like raising his lyrics out of the gutter to the point where, at best,they're merely risque. Changing the lyrics 2 D.M.S.R. from "strip right down to your underwear into "dance 2 the morning light or Sexuality into Spirituality is frustrating 2 listen 2... I would've never became a fan back in 84 if he was doing shit like this. Prince has lost his mind and now, in his free time, knocks on doors to share his religious beliefs with people.. Oh yes! I forgot he is not having sex now as well.

You have one point and that's the changing of the lyrics which to me personally is silly but I respect his beliefs. But uh you seriously mean he RUINED your life? If you depend on others....If you depend on others especially a celebrity to have a good life then that's some bullshit. You can always move on from him, don't think anyone is forcing you to sit down on a chair tied up listening to Prince music all day. Change your priorities. or listen to his old stuff. Seriously.

Prince's career is not ruined. Neither is Madonna's, Michael's, Janet's, Elton's, or any other artist who gets better or mature with age. They have all grown up and moved on and maybe you should do the same.

I'm really glad he's not the same person he use to be, he would have burned himself out in a BAD way, instead of aging with dignity and class. Prince is beautiful in my eyes and I wouldn't want him any other way. I'm over 50 and my tastes have mellowed right along with him, I'm a lifelong fan, been there from the start and when I wanna hear the old stuff I do cause i've collected it all.
