Ever see Prince in concert again?

Lately, I've been feeling like I may never see Prince perform live again. he just doesn't seem interested in touring and I'm afraid that his prices are just too high. Honestly, do you think You'll ever see Prince in concert again?

I go to his gigs hoping for an aftershow, I don't care for his mainshow setlists. Even at the O2, i found myself getting bored at points, that sounds bad, but if i hear 'Take Me With U' one more time, swear i'm gonna scream.

I will see him again tho! lol

No problem with his prices btw. He treated us Brits last year, cheaper than One Nite Alone tour, which was only £40 itself. When he come over here charging Madogga prices, then i may not bother.

I think I'll see him one more time but I have that feeling too that you have. It would be nice if we knew some plans of him, it would take away the somewhat insecure feeling.
I actually couldn't imagine not seeing him live ever again. He always gives me such a boost of energy.

I hope he will always show up somewhere around the world. He could sit all night in a chair with his guitar, I don't care. I've enjoyed him from 1992 until 2002. I can't speak about 2007 because I couldn't see him much in London.
I want to enjoy him, his music and his jokes, a la that show he did for MTV, from Musicology. I love that concept.

But we should never give up hope. He's an artist and he lives for music. He will always pop up somewhere hug

Why are there so few real genuine artists in the bizz. We hold on to him that much because there's not much to enjoy out there.

he said at the 02 conference that he was going to take a year off to study the bible, maybe that's what he is doing, so maybe he will start a tour next year, he clearly love's performing I can't see him stopping.I think he's a great showman I will always want to go and see him even it means lining up all night in the purple rain to get a ticket.

Just seems like he's performing for the rich celebrities a lot now. I can't say compared to who because I don't go to see anyone else. I live in Philadelphia in the U.S. and we've been waiting a long time for him to come back, he said after Musicology that he would.

I live in Philly too and wish he would come back. I would pay about $300.00 to see him and will travel to either D.C. or NYC to see him perform.

Byt the way - the Phillies suck! lol

Yeah 1sexymf, I know the Phillies suck but they're doing well right now. I guess it's the economy or the upcoming elections, but I need to hear some good news about now, the thrill from Prince's book is over. lol

as long as prince keeps this greatest hits shit shake

when he ditches the concept of i have music from the 90's and onwards and this is what i'm going 2 play from now on, then nod
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

I'm REALLY hoping I will...but that is, of course, up to Prince.

Don't know if I'll travel to see him at this point..but as always...we'll see.

Couldn't care less lol

His glory days are far past him now, and I'm not keen on watching an aging rockstar run through old hits.

Well, if the Smiths EVER got back together (I know they wont), I might check that out. lol

Yeah, £31.21 doesn't seem too steep to see one of the best live performers in the world.. lol And £25 to see him a couple of yards away at an aftershow is the best money I've ever spent in my LIFE! razz

That's a really good question.....I truly don't even know how I ever made it to one Musicology concert with the way he does things sometimes... I made it to a bunch of the tour concerts and it seemed so much easier and less complicated then. I just happened to see an add for the tour, signed up at NPGMC and got membership tickets and seats... it was like heaven... never expected to even have that good of a time...I knew it was special... now I do truly wonder as well if he ever will be that chilled out and cool again....or that I'll even bother after all this stuff...drama drama....I guess I was just lucky to catch him at all.... I really thought he'd just keep going he seemed to be having so much fun.... and so happy..It's funny when I look back on it now.I thought "well if I get down and need to have a great time I'll just look up where he's playing and hit a concert or two." lol but things have changed.... so very much.....

I think he's gonna perform again, for sure. I don't think he's gonna stop and also, I just saw him once, in 2002. Where I live we had Prince just a little time (Italy, more or less 10 concerts in over 20 years and I attended one). I wanna see him again, even if he's grown up and he's changed.

What I think he could stop doin', is releasing albums. At least, in the traditional way.

Well, the people in London were fortunate. Prince doesn't do concerts here for $31.21.

After seeing him many times during his 21 nights, I was then badly let down by the Croke Park fiasco after booking tickets, hotel, flights etc....

Of course I'll see him again, I can't imagine the feeling knowing he's playing close by and not being there!

I'd rather be able to afford my rent. If he doesn't play MSG or some other NYC venue at a show that's not for the rich & famous, then it won't happen. Then again, if he's not going to be doing anything but lame cover tunes & censored versions of his own songs, who cares?

££££!!! wink s'all relevant! yes, we were very fortunate..
can't ever imagine the same generosity again..i wouldn't expect to actually.
i mean touring/live gigs has gotta be the only way artists can guarantee making big bucks, so yes, i'm sure i'll see him play again..hits & all!
hopefully he's feeling the credit crunching & won't have much choice giggle
