Then and Now, I wish I would have seen Prince on Tour in 81', I remember the video's from that time, Come to think of it, I wonder if "Controversy," was filmed in a church, I remember a stained glass window. Do U know?

I think Dez was the only guitarist that P had that was on his level. I don't mean JUST quality wise...but he had that same bit of confidence and presence. He didn't seem like just a back up guitarist.
I saw that clip, too. He was all dropping to the ground playing the heck out of that song like "HEY! This is my show too! watch this!!!"
Dez really participated in the studio stuff more than a lot of other bands members as well, no? I mean...he actually has vocals on some stuff...and even *lowers voice* PLAYS GUITAR on them *gasp*
I mean, P played guitar on the Time's albums and that wasn't even his band. But dez...shoot. Go on, baby.
