That's so sweet, isn't it?

I never play Prince at the house so my 5 year old boy doesn't know any songs. He says he doesn't like Prince to tease me.
During the holiday I had 1999 in my disc player and he wanted to listen to what I was playing. I said "Prince of course", he said "yuk".
When he heard Little red corvette he was like eek is THAT Prince? And he wouldn't let go that whole day, he was hooked immediately, putting it on repeat and shaking his little body. I have a pic somewhere, I though it was so cute.

LOL that is one thing I like about kids... their brutal honesty. I took her to the Met (Metropolitan Museum) last week. She really hated the trip sad and could not understand why I was so mesmerized by the "old stuff". lol

lol indeed. Compared to grown ups you just know what you've got. No need to guess. They're honest in telling you that they hate something but they're the same honest in letting you know they love you. It's so real with them. I wish everybody was like that, lots of problems would be solved. All that sucking up and back stabbing would be gone, hurray.

Oh shit. I thought you were talking about the album not the song. Cuase' I didn't think that laying "Let's Pretend We're Married" on a 6-year old was really a good idea.

Also: do what IstenSzek said.

nod my kid was singing a song all week and I didn't pay any attention so I asked him the other day, what are you singing all week? Then he sang "don't you think your girlfriend is hot like me" eek

boxed I played that song looong time ago (very loud, my fault giggle), he remembered it
