I guess a woman loving a man, that is Prince would seem intimidating to a degree, It's not so much the surrounding business with musicians and the entertainment world around him as it would be a one on one interaction.
Prince is aware that he is loved by many many people. Maybe if we have been hurt by someone in a relationship that our character was insulted by investing so much time into loving a person and that love wasn't felt or returned, that can make u feel that your love is hopeless in reaching someones heart, I guess. Prince has a comforting voice and spirit. It's nice to share the Earth with people like Prince...It gives us hope in our fellow man, that there are other's that gather love, share love, and preserve the idea of a Utopian world, where heaven is everyone fed, clothed, happy, in love, and connected to that Universal idea of Brotherhood. In this song, Prince says, I know U already love me, in another song He sings, that he isn't sure.
Maybe Prince is talking to two different people, or Prince still isn't sure about his own feelings. 2 me this a BEAUTIFUL song!
It really has lyrics that don't scare me in2 thinking they were written by some crazed freak but by a man who has reached a different level of love...the kind with respect..love without sex...without assumptions. The type of love 1 only dreams of. get emotional EVERYTIME hear it! If any1 sang this 2 me...that would b it 4 me:)

when someone whoever it may be gave me his sign SOMEWHERE HERE ON EARTH..... .
l then listen to it.... lm not kidding u ...l was really choked up inside and was in tears with my emotions runnin all over the place it was too intense and the feelins were rushin thru my body all nite....it hit me so hard.... it seems like its unbelievable with all those words he said.....were so true.... l knew what he meant and whats he saying,,,,those lyrics are there to tell u what he means.... it not tht hard to understand....
