Unfortunately, yes. I do this often. Some artists I get hooked on and wind up getting burned out. Sometimes it happens with a genre.
I should take a break. I can still hunt down stuff, but I don't have the time to thoroughly listen to just the Prince albums I have right now... much less the other 100 CD's from other artists I bought this year. By default i do.... Since i have to drive in lovely LA traffic everyday, and Prince makes up 1/4 of the 4,500 plus songs on my i-pod and i often put it on shuffle. I end up listing to prince wether i want to or not. In fact just as i'm writing this my i-pod went from "The fool on the hill" by the beatles to "The One" by you know who. | |
