Does anyone want to get saved now that they've listened to "The Word"? How has Prince influenced your religious or spiritual choices, if he has at all?

the word is a great song, but I've been saved a lot longer than Prince has.

In fact I just listened to it a few minutes ago.

I was walking back to my campus from the cafeteria. It was just got dark, but I was just able to see through the wooden path that leads back to my apartment. It's like a 5-minute walk.

So I listened to the song on my walk and being in the dark makes it sound so much clearer. It's so cool. It feels like you were in the studio with him, playing all those instruments, scratching those records and just being Prince

I'd pretty much always liked this song as much as I do.

i think Prince is singing to himself alot of the time

Prince has inspired my spirituality and continued 2 enhance that through the years. I was saved in 99' and Baptised in 2003. I had taken Jesus into my heart several times since I was a child, yet never had the experience that I had when I called on Jesus with, "All of my heart."

It is something that as a Christian I feel strongly about saying. 2 feel something will, "All of your heart," is much different than 97 percent of it. Being saved is a very unique experience. I enjoyed my baptism as well. The Bible says U must be baptised by the spirit and by water. Thankfully I am...I'd be willing to go through the ritual again, if I was to marry.

more than prince. i respect prince's choices but i can't relate to them
anymore at all. if the songs are cool i don't really care if they have a
religious under- or overtone but for the most part i just don't understand
how he can believe the things he does, especialy since a lot of his songs
seem to hint that he read a lot of science.
