God Made Me Funky Sample Just interviewed Mike Clark (drummer from the Headhunters, among 50,000 other things) on PBS Radio in Melbourne, and he mentioned that Prince had used a sample of 'God Made Me Funky' somewhere. Does anyone know which song this was used in? It's probably just a tiny soundbite, I doubt P would have used a whole loop from him, but I could be wrong. Anyone know? Take it - like Clarence said:

Yes indeed. He sampled it on 'The Sacrifice of Victor'. Lots of people have sampled that break, funny he should mention Prince out of everyone! [Edited 10/21/08 5:19am] |
